  • What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy, often referred to as counseling or talk therapy, is a collaborative and
confidential process between a trained therapist and an individual or group. It provides a
safe and non-judgmental space to explore and understand emotions, thoughts,
behaviors, and the challenges that may be impacting one's life.

  • How can I find the right therapist?

We offer a free 20 min consultation with your potential therapists for you to connect with them
to learn about them and ask any questions you have about therapy or about the process. It is
important that you find the right connection with you therapist as this is the foundation of the
therapeutic process.

  • How do I pay for my Therapy?

All of our payments are securely processed through Jane software. Once you decide your
therapist and book your appointment, you can securely add your credit card on your file for all
future payments. We also accept e-transfers and provide you with a receipt with all information
after every session once the payment is processed.

  • What is the cancellation Policy?

We require at least 24hr notice for all cancellations, less than 24 hr hour notice or no shows
might result in full or partial payments. You can reach out to your therapists directly or email
info@bhtherapy.ca to notify cancellations.

  • Are my services covered by Insurance?

While most insurances cover Psychotherapy services, we strongly recommend you to contact
your Insurance to confirm your coverage as it differs widely. You can use the receipts we
provide for your insurance claims.
